Description

The "Matta della Vida" is a completely refurbished apartment on the ground floor of a building that has just recently been renovated, but with an entrance of its own. It is therefore easy to access, this will be highly appreciated, especially when you will have to carry your luggage with you or even if you have any children. It consists of a large living room with a kitchen area furnished with modern furniture, that is supplied with a sofa bed for two (one double or two singles), a double room with walk-in closet and a comfortable bathroom with shower. It also has a small and charming little courtyard, where you can sit and read or have a drink, or even smoke (if you wish). The decor is elegant and functional. The house is equipped with every comfort: air conditioning, LCD satellite TV, DVD player, internet connection and safety box.

Location:

The apartment is located in the "Castello" neighbourhood, in a very quiet area in a typical Venetian street. It is very close to the "Arsenale", a few minutes walk from the historical centre of the city: St. Mark, the Bridge of Sighs, the "Palazzo Ducale" - Doge's Palace and the "Riva degli Schiavoni". While walking back home you will enjoy the view of the whole of St. Mark's basin, with St. Giorgio's island, the "Giudecca" and the church of St. Mary of Health/salvation. A few paces away you will also find lively Via Garibaldi, the "live" part of Venice, with its shops, fish stalls and barges from which fruit and vegetables are sold. To get there, you can use the ACTV ferry lines no. 1 or no. 41 from the train station and from the car parks of Piazzale Roma. It is therefore easily reachable and you don't even have to cross any bridge: this will also be very useful especially when you'll have to carry your luggage. For those coming from Marco Polo Venice airport a motorboat service is available (Alilaguna - "RED" line). After getting off at the "Arsenal" stop, the house is reached on foot in 2 minutes flat.



Location

In the heart of the city in the sestiere of S.Marco but to the border with the sestiere of Castello it combines the two characteristics, worldly with all of boutiques from Armani, Cartier, D&G and a lot of others and shops of glass and restaurants of San Marco and that of very popular of Castello with the typical markets of fruit and of  fish that offers foreshortenings of other times, two faces of a some city polymeric and without time.
