Gabbiano is a flat situated in the Castello district, it is furnished with elegance, practicality and taste. It is the ideal flat for an holiday in Venice for a family,or for one or two couples of friends. The area, which overlooks the wonderful S. Marco basin, is very picturesque: the lively Garibaldi Street with its market of fish, fruits and vegetables and the most beautiful shops of the centre, from those of big names to small shops of handicrafts, are all at a stone's throw. Every day you will be able to choose a different restaurant among the numerous restaurants of the area or, for those who prefer cooking at home, you will be able to buy typical products at a grocer's shop. The kitchen, perfectly equipped, suits the great Italian gastronomical tradition. The flat is equipped with all the necessary equipment: air conditioning, TV LCD, electric oven, washing machine, Italian coffee machine, toaster, hair-dryer, iron, autonomous heating. Location Gabbiano is situated in the Castello district, in the heart of the city, a few minutes from S. Marco district and the wonderful S. Marco Square. It combines the characteristics of the two districts, that of S. Marco, the society one,with its glamorous boutiques, the glass handicraft shops and the restaurants, and that of Castello which is more famous and, with its typical markets of fruits and fish, offers picturesque and old day sceneries. Two sides of the same versatile and without time city. The Doge's Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, the Biennial Exhibition and the Arsenal can be easily reached by walking while Murano and Burano islands are linked thanks to the near ferryboat berth. Gabbiano is situated in a picturesque and quiet street at a stone's throw from the "Giardini" ferryboat stop. It can be easily reached from the railway station, from the bus station and from Roma Square parking areas thanks to lines n° 1 or n° 41 or 51. In order to reach it from these places you do not have to pass any bridge. It is situated at a stone's throw from numerous restaurants. Those who arrive from the Marco Polo Airport of Venice will be able to use the motorboat service (Alilaguna line "GOLD") and stop directly at S.Zaccaria berth. The flat is just 5 minutes walk from there. |

The apartment Gabbiano is very... The apartment Gabbiano is very beautiful and big enough for 4 people to feel comfortable, but the highlight is the location. Very peaceful and very near to all sightseeing points. Restaurant and Grocery store right around the corner and vaporetto 3 minutes away. I would definitely come back and book the same place. Tanti saluti anche a Luca che era molto gentile!
